Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Jürgen Ruhlmann

Doctor of Nuclear medicine and Medical Director of Medizin Center Bonn.

In 1991 Prof. Ruhlmann took over a private Institute for Nuclear Medicine, which is known today as Medizin Center Bonn – Medizinisches Versorgungszentrum.

Prof. Ruhlmann founded in 1994 the first private PET-Center in Germany and developed Bonn’s Model: cooperation between a private institute and a University’s clinic. After that in 1996 he opened MR-Open-Center and in 1998 he opened the second building – Medizin Center Bonn with establishment of the radiopharmaceutical operation West German Cyclotron GmbH, which supplied the practice with required radiopharmaceuticals for PET examinations.

In 2003 he was one of the first doctors in Europe, who installed new PET/CT scanner. Since 2006 he is Medical Director of Medizinischen Versorgungszentrums (MVZ) Medizin Center Bonn.

Prof. Ruhlmann is a member of the Association of German nuclear medicine (BDN), the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) and the Academy for Molecular Imaging (AMI). Prof. Ruhlmann was one of the first doctors in Germany who got the PET certificate of the German Society of Nuclear Medicine.

Mrs. Rosanwo is since 2001 in Medizin Center Bonn. Her specialization is heart’s nuclear diagnostics.


Dr. med. Jan Weber

In April 2018 Dr. Weber joined our radiology department at the MVZ Medical Center Bonn. Our patients benefit from his many years of radiological experience as medical director and chief physician. His specialties are: CT, MRI, MR angiography, breast MRI, prostate MRI, musculoskeletal imaging, osteoradiology and sonography.

Dr. Weber has the expertise in radiation protection for nuclear medicine.

Dr. Weber is a member of:

Dr. med. Elias A. Malek

Facharzt für Radiologie

Since March 2020, Dr. Malek is working as a radiology specialist at the MVZ Medicine Center Bonn. Dr. Malek studied human medicine at the Albertus Magnus University in Cologne. After completing his internship in the radiology department of the University of California San Francisco, he completed his training as a radiology specialist. His areas of expertise are CT and MRI, in particular musculoskeletal MRI and pulmonary and visceral slice diagnostics.
